Hi Friends! Today is Day Two of the Faith Dare. So far, we've been challenged to change our hearts by focusing on the Lord and that our new heart is kept in rhythm by the truth found in God's word and daily surrender. As well as Daring to Follow God's lead in our lives. Psalm 119 says "Happy are those who perfectly follow the laws of God".
I hope that you guys have made time to read and reflect, as well as prayed for one another. Here are our specific prayer requests:
Jessica Metts:
- Continued health for baby and mom
- Pray for neighbors; Martha who recently put her dog to sleep and is dealing with some physical ailments, as well as Jim (tree neighbor) who had a stroke.
Jessica P:
- PRAISE... Andrew and Jess are moving into their new town home today. Pray for smooth transition.
- Increased stress, especially with the wedding nearing, sister issues, and difficulty with control/delegation
Jenna:
- Pray for Robbie and Rhonda's family as they are expecting another child together and have some issues of their own
- Pray for a positive body image and knowing that I am beautifully and wonderfully made!
- My attitude; I'm kind of in a funk. But I contribute this to being spiritual "dry bones"
Laurel:
- 2 BIG things: Work situation. For guidance on making a big decision re: a new possible job. As well as Luke and her continuing to try and conceive.
It's been a joy praying for you guys this week. Jenny and Leann, Please let us know how we can pray for you. And I'm excited about ALL of us getting together this week. We were hoping that we could do Wednesday, because Tuesday is our Jessica M's birthday! Let me know you thoughts, and if that would be ok for everyone. Also, are we still good to meet at Jenny's?
